Amber's already posted a few pictures from our trip to Israel, and I thought I'd follow suit. I'll try to space it out over a few posts starting with religious life in Jerusalem, particularly the Old City. One day maybe I'll have observations to share about this... but that day's not today. (Are those cheers I hear?) I think the pictures can speak for themselves today.

The Western Wall, on a Monday afternoon.

Prayers tucked into the cracks in the Western Wall.

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Another church in the Christian Quarter of the Old City - can't remember which!

The Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount.

Ok, its really not Amber Joy, but I just pass up a chance to have her name before mine in the comment section...
DPS, You had me rolling! I saw my name and thought I had lost my mind and seen these pictures in a before-life or something. But I hadn't. I haven't been here before me.
But I am here now.
